Railings — Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about our railings work across the Denver metro. Call for anything not covered here — we quote fast over the phone.

How much does a custom steel railing cost in the Denver metro?
Most residential handrails run $85–$150 per linear foot installed, depending on style (vertical picket vs. horizontal bar), finish, and access. Call for a fast phone quote — no obligation.
Are your railings code-compliant for stairs and decks?
Yes. Every railing is built to IRC/IBC height and opening requirements — 36" for decks, 34–38" for stairs, with a 4" sphere rule on pickets and 4-3/8" on horizontal bars where required.
Can you match an existing railing on my home?
In most cases yes. Send a couple of photos with a tape measure in frame and we can fabricate a matching section or full replacement.
What finishes do you offer?
Matte black powder-coat is the most popular, followed by bronze, satin black paint, and raw hot-rolled steel with a clear coat for an industrial look.
Do you install horizontal cable or bar railings?
Yes — horizontal bar is one of our most requested styles for modern homes, lofts, and mountain decks. We fabricate the frames in-shop and install on site.
